Conveniently located for ambling along the river to neighbouring villages and local public houses, as well as more serious walking, the village itself is home to the beautiful 15th Century church of St. Michael the Archangel which is thought to house the church bells heard by Tom in the novelist Charles Kingsley`s “Water Babies”.

The interior of the barn has been completed to a very high contemporary standard with an open plan kitchen/dining room & lounge with wood burning stove. Large patio windows open out onto a cobbled area at the front of the barn. High ceilings with exposed oak and pine beams throughout the cottage maintain its historical character.  

It has 3 double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and the other two sharing a large bathroom with sizable bath. With numerous creature comforts including a large flatscreen TV, Sky  and audio system, it makes a perfect base for exploring the area with the option of returning 'home' and putting your feet up in style!
